"He won his maiden very easily last week and he handled the ground very well," said Manning.
"I think when he steps up in trip we'll see him in an even better light.
"Jim has always thought a lot of him and has him well entered.
"He's very progressive and I'm sure we'll see plenty more of him, a step up in trip might help him too."
Bolger confirmed that the Irish Derby would now be on his agenda.
"Carraiglawn did it well, is an improving horse and will now run in the Irish Derby," he said.
Carraiglawn is a half-brother to Soldier Of Fortune, who won the Irish Derby himself in 2007.

"That's my second winner & ndash; my first was Utrillo (for O'Brien) at Tipperary last October and this was my 17th ride," said Reid.
