Tony Martin's string appear to have emerged from a spell in the doldrums and Honour The World (6-1) advertised that fact in the Champion Lettings Novice Hurdle at Bellewstown.
Martin could not buy a winner throughout June but the spark appears to be returning as he also had a winner at Fairyhouse a few days ago.
Ruby Walsh was in the saddle and the pair beat Wikaala by three-quarters of a length.
"Some of my horses haven't been getting the rub of the green but hopefully the luck might be changing now," said Martin.
Walsh has returned from his injury riding as well as ever and he doubled up on Oliver Mckiernan's Older And Wiser (2-1 favourite) in the Landmark Estates Maiden Hurdle.
Last seen finishing second in the first ever race at new Welsh track Ffos Las, the seven-year-old was never in any danger and strolled home.
"We always thought a lot of him," said McKiernan.
"I'm delighted for him that he has finally got his head in front. Hopefully the penny has dropped with him now. He'll soon be jumping a fence and he'll go for a winners of one next."
Kevin O'Brien's Fingers (5-1) is in great heart at present and easily landed the Seamus Mulvaney Crockafotha Handicap Hurdle.
A winner of four of his last six starts, on the level and over hurdles, Luke McNiff guided him home in style.
Lester Winters landed a bit of a punt in the opening Murphy Sand, Gravel and Decorative Stone Maiden with Vivacious Vivienne
Backed from 11-2 into 7-2 she beat John Oxx's Taksima by four and a half lengths.
"She is Galway bound," said Winters.
"She'll probably go for a mile or a mile and a half handicap.
"She jumped the roadways there but it made no difference."
