Rachael Blackmore was seen to good effect on The Black Russian to secure top honours in the John Mulhern Handicap Hurdle at Ballinrobe.
The 7-1 chance was bounced out in front by Blackmore, who was able to dictate terms to suit herself.
The pack closed in on the long run to the final flight but Blackmore had kept something up her sleeve, and The Black Russian bounded away again to cross the line with seven lengths in hand of Runyon Rattler
