McNamara bags another winner with Say Say It So stormed down the outer to run out an easy winner of the concluding mile-six handicap at Navan for in-form trainer Eric McNamara. Billy Lee settled out the back on the 5/1 joint-favourite before asking him to take closer order early in the straight. The Raven's Pass gelding got to the front passing the furlong pole and soon swept clear to record a cosy four-and-three-quarter length win over Black Soul. It was a third career success for Say It So, who was adding to recent wins over hurdles. Lee said: "He was very slow away, he's a horse that always jumps a bit slow and he did it a bit more today. "Eric told me that he thought the track would be a good bit more ideal for him on the Flat. "He was in good form and I suppose a big, galloping track like this and he had the long straight to get into it. "I probably even got there too soon and he has won well. "He has shown before that he has that ability and you'd like to think there is another day in him on the Flat if things go right. "Fair to say (progressive in both codes). "He was a horse I had ridden before in Dundalk and they liked him then, so he is probably just putting together what he has shown all along." (Quotes by Michael Graham)
