McCreery has a grand servant in Love Colour Of Love proved doubters wrong when the five furlongs of the Bar One Racing Race at Dundalk was no barrier to success as she prevailed by one and a quarter lengths under Wayne Lordan. Taking her score to three wins from her last four outings, the chestnut daughter of Le Vie Dei Colori beat Farmleigh House to defy notable market weakness - 11/10 this morning out to 9/4. Ahaaly (11/4 this morning into 2/1 favourite) could manage only fourth place. She was found to be clinically abnormal post-race. Winning trainer Willie McCreery said: "Wayne gave her a very good ride. I never feared anything but I thought Ahaaly might improve. "She's run over five before and won twice over six so I wasn't worried about the trip, I was more concerned that she was getting to the end of her tether. "Wayne said she travelled very well and she's durable. She's a grand little filly. I just wish I had a few more like her and a few more Waynes as well." (MG & EM)
