Willie McCreery has his string in fine form and struck again when Bay Knight ran out a cosy winner of the Ballykisteen Maiden at Tipperary.
Keagan Latham came up the stand's rail with the Johannesburg colt and led inside the last furlong for a three-length success over 5/4f Silver Shoon
"He was unlucky the last day as he jumped out with the hood on him and ran 50 yards with it," revealed McCreery.
"He's a lovely horse but has just taken time. I took my time with all the two-year-olds last year and it's paying off now.
"I thought he would hate the ground and just planned to give him a run over five to sharpen him up for a six furlong race next week."
