As expected Maybe has been taken out of the Coronation Cup at Royal Ascot this afternoon.
The Aidan O’Brien trained filly was well fancied for the Group 1 contest but the stable hopes now shift to Homecoming Queen after Maybe met with a setback.
O'Brien's wife Annemarie tweeted on Wednesday: "Maybe is a doubtful runner in Friday's Coronation Stakes due to a stone bruise."
Elsewhere on the card there are plenty of further non-runners due to the ground changing from Good to Soft to Soft.
