Course and distance specialist Cracking Name (8/1) won the second split of the Junction Handicap under Billy Lee.

The Famous Name mare tracked the leaders before being brought across to race nearest the stands’ side rail in the straight. She soon made her challenge and went on in the final furlong to beat the 5/1 joint-favourite Hot Bell by two and a quarter lengths.

It was an eighth career win for the chestnut who has won over the seven and a half furlong trip at Tipperary every year since gaining her initial victory in August 2017.

Winning trainer David Marnane said: "She loves it around here and has been running well and has already won this season (at Roscommon).

"She wins her races every year and we'll try her one more time, as she just doesn't go on the all-weather.

"At that grade she is good and is a lovely filly too."
