MORRIS IN WETHERBY RAID

`Mouse` Morris hopes to break new ground by saddling his first winner at Wetherby when he makes a three-horse raid on the English track on Saturday.

Morris is based at Fethard in County Tipperary, and his team is headed by Boss Doyle who runs in the Grade Two John Smith`s Hurdle.

He explains: 'There is not a lot for him over here but he will be going for the big staying hurdles this season.

'Charlie Swan will ride him and Monifeth Man (Tote Exacta Handicap Hurdle) and David Casey will ride Foxchapel King (Grade Two Peterhouse Group Charlie Hall Chase).'

'We have had runners at the course before, but not a winner though I think What A Question finished second there one day.'
