Four extra Flat meetings have been scheduled for this month following the recent spell of wet weather and associated abandonments, the British Horseracing Board announced today.
The meetings will take place on the all-weather at Wolverhampton on Friday October 20, and on turf at Yarmouth on Sunday October 22, Musselburgh on Thursday October 26 and Chepstow on Saturday October 28.
Three meetings have already been added to the fixture list in response to the spate of abandonments, one taking place at Windsor last Friday, another scheduled for Brighton this Friday and another at Newcastle a week tomorrow.
