Montjeu is set to return to action at the start of next month, trainer John Hammond has confirmed.
The four-year-old, winner of the French and Irish Derbys and the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe last season, has not raced since landing the Tattersalls Gold Cup at the Curragh last month.
Hammond said: 'Montjeu is in great shape and the plan is to run in either the Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud on July 2nd or the Eclipse on July 8th prior to the King George, all being well.
'Obviously the two are slightly different races - one has a little more kudos while the other is at home - so there are pros and cons both ways.'
