Montjeu and Dubai Millennium head the 17 acceptors revealed today for the 50th running of the King George VI and Queen Elizabeth Diamond Stakes at Ascot on July 29th.
Only three three-year-olds remain in the Group One contest following the latest forfeit stage including Vodafone Derby third Beat Hollow, winner of the Grand Prix de Paris last time.
Japanese 2000 Guineas winner Air Shakur and the John Oxx-trained Raypour are the other possibles from the Classic generation.
Dual-Derby winner Sinndar, Prix du Jockey-Club hero Holding Court and Sakhee are among the 23 horses withdrawn from the race.
There is a strong representation of older horses with Godolphin also having Fantastic Light, Kayf Tara and Mutafaweq, in addition to Dubai Millennium, as they attempt to win the £750,000 contest for a fourth successive year.
Sir Michael Stoute has left in Coronation Cup winner Daliapour and Beat All, while Henry Cecil could be represented by top fillies Ramruma and Shiva.
King George day, sponsored by De Beers, will also feature a special Royal procession to honour Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother, who will celebrate her 100th birthday six days later.
The procession, which will use the horse-drawn carriages normally only seen at the Royal meeting in June, will cover the straight just after the first race at 1.45pm.
Ascot chief executive Douglas Erskine-Crum said: "The Royal Procession on De Beers Diamond Day will provide the perfect opportunity for Ascot and all its racegoers to join in The Queen Mother's birthday celebrations, as well as marking the Golden Jubilee of the race named after her."
The £150,000 Tote International Handicap, which has been switched here from Ascot's August meeting, has attracted 58 acceptors including Royal Hunt Cup winner Caribbean Monarch, who went on to score at Sandown last Sunday.
