MCCOY FORCED TO TAKE A DAY OFF

Tony McCoy misses his sole booked ride at Leicester today but is set to have only 24 hours rest before resuming at Wetherby tomorrow.

The champion jockey had a physiotherapy session this morning after taking three heavy falls at Plumpton yesterday, the first when disappointing favourite Levelander threw him off on the way down to the start.

But his agent Dave Roberts reported: "The ankle is still a bit sore so he'll miss today but he'll definitely be back at Wetherby tomorrow.

"Norman Williamson will replace him on Jason's Boy at Leicester."
