Trainer Ger Lyons rarely leaves Dundalk without a winner and he saddled Royal Entourage to win the Generali Ireland Handicap at the venue tonight.
Ridden by Johnny Murtagh /a>, the son of Royal Applause arrived late to deny Daytime Dreamer by a short head, on the line.
Afterwards Lyons mentioned "Royal Entourage threw away his chance at the start the last day and while I was worried about the trip today, he stayed well and it looks like we can now race him on the Turf."
