Lullaby leads home O'Brien one-two Seamie Heffernan set the fractions on Lullaby in the mile maiden for three-year-old fillies in Leopardstown and brought home a one-two for Aidan O'Brien. She took a couple of lengths out of the field on the turn for home and it was stablemate Only who improved to second inside the final quarter of a mile. Newcomer Only, by multiple Grade One hero Deep Impact out of double Guineas winner Winter, closed at the furlong pole and kept going for Ryan Moore but couldn't get on terms with Lullaby (4/1) and went down by a neck at 10/3. Sierra Nevada was two and a half lengths off this battle in third at 3/1. "It was grand that she won, we liked her last year and she has a high enough rating,” said O'Brien. “We were delighted with her and she'll come back here for the Guineas trial over a mile. “I'm delighted with the second filly, she ran a lovely race and won't mind stepping up whenever. She was a bit green down the inside but ran a lovely race too. “We'll give her a little bit of time, we won't rush her, and she'll go back for a maiden. She could be an Irish Oaks filly, when she goes up to that trip she'll be very happy.” Lullaby was the most experienced filly in the field with four unplaced runs at Listed and Group level in her juvenile campaign.
