Having competed in the Lismullen Hurdle at Navan in 2021 and 2022 Flooring Porter now again has the Proudstown Park two and a half miler in his sights as trainer Gavin Cromwell plots a course forward with his Kerry National hero.

The Grade Two Railway Bar Lismullen Hurdle will this year take place at the County Meath venue on Saturday November 16th and the following day the much anticipated Grade 3 Bar One Racing Troytown Handicap Chase will be run off at the stamina sapping venue.

Gavin Cromwell during the week stated on stable star Flooring Porter: “He's great. We actually had to work him, he worked this morning. He gets very fresh so you have to try and just keep the edge off him but I'm delighted with him.

“I'd say we'll possibly go to the Lismullen Hurdle. That's what we have in our head at the moment.”
