Leopardstown & Limerick both on Today's meetings at Leopardstown and Limerick both go ahead following early morning precautionary inspections. Officials at both tracks decided to have a look this morning due to the threat of frost with temperatures dipping below freezing. However parts of the chase course at Leopardstown are currently unraceable and the situation will continue to be monitored. A new fresh hurdle course will be in use on the inside line as Hurricane Fly and Jezki go head-to-head once again in the Ryanair Hurdle, the feature at 1.25pm. Meanwhile the Limerick four-day Christmas Festival winds up with the Grade 3 Cliona's Foundation Novice Hurdle the highlight on another seven-race card beginning at 12.35pm. The going is described as heavy on the hurdle course and soft to heavy on the chase course. In the UK, meetings at Doncaster, Southwell and Kelso have all been abandoned due to the icy conditions leaving Newbury as the sole remaining fixture.
