Horse Racing Ireland has announced that yesterday’s Naas meeting, which was cancelled after the first race due to dense fog, will now be held on Friday January 12.

This rescheduled meeting will feature the six races that were not run on Sunday plus a four-year-old and upwards Handicap Hurdle (rated 80-95) over two miles.

Fresh entries for this meeting will close by mid-day today, with the exception of the Grade 1 Lawlor’s Of Naas Novice Hurdle which will revert to the original entry stage with fresh forfeits/supplementary entries to be made by mid-day today.

Declarations to run for this rescheduled meeting must be made by 10am on Wednesday January 10.

Night And Day emerged from the fog to upset long odds-on stablemate Brandy Love in the opening mares’ beginners chase yesterday before the action came to a premature halt.
