Love Divine is as short as 5-2 favourite to become the first winner of the Lupe Stakes at Goodwood to go on to triumph in the Vodafone Oaks.
She climbed to the top of the betting for the Epsom Classic after defeating The Queen's Spinning Top by four lengths in the Victor Chandler-sponsored event.
Love Divine was providing a boost to trainer Henry Cecil whose string has been hit by sickness.
The filly, however, is still to be confirmed a definite runner in the Oaks with owner Trevor Harris required to pay £15,000 to supplement her into the race by the deadline tomorrow week.
"I hope she will run but we can leave it as long as possible. If she's very well I'll talk to the owner," said Cecil. "It's his filly and he'll decide. He has to put up the money."
Love Divine, second in a Doncaster maiden on her only previous outing, was confidently ridden by Richard Quinn.
She was sent to the front with two furlongs to travel and pulled away in grand style.
Love Divine had been struck down by the lung ailment that had afflicted several of Cecil's Derby candidates.
"I was thrilled with that. Last month she was ill, she had the same thing as a lot of my horses and this was the only opportunity we had before the Oaks," he said.
"She blew a lot after her last gallop and I know there's a lot of improvement in her."
Danceabout is another filly destined for better things after making an impressive winning debut in the opening race on the card.
Geoff Wragg's charge is earmarked for the Jersey Stakes at Royal Ascot next month.
Camberley finally broke his duck courtesy of a superb waiting ride from Kevin Darley. A possible target for him is the Britannia Handicap at Royal Ascot.
The Hardwicke Stakes at the same meeting is the next assignment for Mutamam after his nine-length success in the final race.
