Champion Stakes defector Indian Lodge headed six British horses declared today for Sunday`s Group One Prix de la Foret at Longchamp.
Pat Eddery takes over on board the Amanda Perrett-trained four-year-old, who was ridden by Cash Asmussen when winning the Prix du Moulin at the same track last month.
Philip Robinson partners Michael Jarvis` Tomba, who won the seven-furlong event in 1998, with Kevin Darley on last year`s third Trans Island (trained by Ian Balding).
The British team is completed by Richard Hannon`s Bold Edge (Richard Hughes), Nigel Tinkler`s Sugarfoot (John Reid) and Mick Channon`s Golden Silca (Craig Williams).
Jarvis runs Holding Court (Robinson) in the Group Two Prix du Conseil de Paris on the same card, his colt`s first race in France since winning the Prix du Jockey-Club at Chantilly in June.
His three-year-old has finished unplaced in the Irish Derby and Grosser Preis von Baden on his last two starts.
Mark Johnston`s Kind Regards (Williams) is also among a five-runner field for the mile-and-a-half contest.
