Johnny Murtagh's mount eventually defeated Fran Berry's mount by three and a half lengths.Bacchus Prince landed the bumper for trainer Willie Mullins and jockey James Nash. Backed from 4/1 to half those odds, Bacchus Prince made all and was never headed leaving Mullins to state 'he disappointed at Galway so we decided to make more us of him today and those tactics seem to have paid off.'The Listowel Beginners Chase was won by Jessica Harrington's Colca Canyon. The winner benefited from a recent chase run at Cork and overturned 4/5 favourite Glenhaven Nugget here under Barry Geraghty.
