LINGFIELD ABANDONED

Today`s English National Hunt meeting at Lingfield has been abandoned following an early morning inspection as the course is waterlogged.

Clerk of the course Fergus Cameron said: 'We had a heavy rainstorm last night bringing a quarter of an inch of rain.

'Following an inspection of the track, the stewards have taken the decision that the track is waterlogged and unsafe in places.'
