Perigee Moon provided Aidan O'Brien with yet another big-race triumph when comfortably taking the Group 3 Killavullan Stakes at a blustery Leopardstown.
The American-bred colt came from off the pace to collar Dr Brendler for a comfortable one length verdict, justifying his trainer's high opinion of him.
'This could be a guineas horse, he's big and strong and has plenty of speed. We'd done very little with him before his (winning) debut at the Curragh last month', said the Ballydoyle maestro, who expects to have up to eight runners at the Breeders Cup meeting next weekend.
O'Brien later doubled up in the 1m two year-old maiden through Mediterranean, who came from an unpromising position turning in to win going away.
Like so many of the Ballydoyle inmates, the colt was making a belated debut due to a bout of coughing and looks sure to go on to better things.
The heavily-backed Jammaal galloped through the testing conditions for a facile victory in the Listed Trigo Stakes.
'This fellow is a model of consistency - he's been on the go all year and has never been out of the first four,' said Dermot Weld afterwards.
'The ground can't be soft enough for him, and I thought he was a certainty today.'
Jim Gorman has his string in tremendous form as the flat season draws to a close, and Miracle Ridge gave him his fourteenth success of the campaign in the opening 5f handicap.

Newcomer Lime Gardens ran out an impressive winner of the juvenile fillies' maiden under Eddie Ahern, overcoming her inexperience to score by 3 1/2 lengths.
'She's been working extremely well, but that trip (7f) would be the bare minimum for her. I'd expect her to get a mile and a half next year,' opined delighted handler Michael Grassick.
Attalicus came with a sweeping run down the outside to spring a surprise in the 1m handicap for trainer Tim Doyle, while the stamina-sapping 2m4f bumper was won in good style by Good Vintage .
