Sagitta 1000 Guineas winner Lahan will miss her intended engagement at Royal Ascot next week, it was announced today.
The John Gosden-trained filly bypassed the Irish 1000 Guineas because of unsuitably soft ground and was instead being aimed at the Coronation Stakes at the Royal meeting on Friday week.
However, speaking at Salisbury races today, Gosden said: "She was cast in her box last week and we are unlikely to get her there which is disappointing to put it mildly."
Gosden added: 'Lahan rapped the outside of her off-fore joint.'
