Lahan will definitely not be contesting the Vodafone Oaks at Epsom next month, it has been revealed.
The Sagitta 1000 Guineas winner had been quoted by Ladbrokes at 25-1 for the mile-and-a-half Classic.
Even the French equivalent of the Oaks, the Prix de Diane Hermes over an extended one and a quarter miles, is unlikely to be on Lahan's agenda.
'She has got so much speed that there really isn't any need to go much beyond a mile at present and she won't run in the Oaks,' said owner Hamdan Al Maktoum's racing manager Angus Gold.
Gosden wants to train Lahan for the Coronation Stakes, a Group One event, at Royal Ascot next month.
But the daughter of Unfuwain could first try to take the Irish 1000 Guineas at the Curragh at the end of the month.
'The Coronation Stakes looks a sensible option but we could take in the Irish 1000 Guineas on the way. It will depend on how she has taken Sunday's race,' said Gold.
