Koshere King under Paddy Kennedy, made a winning debut for trainer Eddie Hales at Punchestown today, landing a touch (20/1 – 14/1) in the Martinstown Opportunity Handicap Hurdle.
Afterwards Hales remarked “that’s my first handicap runner in something like nine years! I only have Koshere King seven or eight weeks and had been planning to send him chasing but the weather prevented me schooling him.”
