The Adrian Maguire trained Golden Kite made it three wins in his last four starts when landing the featured Irish Stallion Farms EBF Captain Christy Novice Chase at Clonmel today.
Well ridden by Shane Hassett, the son of Anshan improved to lead before the second last fence and went clear before the last. However Golden Kite did allow runner-up Clifton Debut to get within a head of him at the line.
Afterwards a delighted Maguire reported “Golden Kite loves fast ground and a test of stamina. He jumps very well and is very honest - we'll let him keep telling us where to go next.”
