King beats the O'Brien siblings on Ravello Connor King got the better of the O’Brien siblings, Joseph and Ana, as he partnered Ravello Again to victory in the Killarney Oils Handicap. The Patrick Prendergast trained daughter of Lawman won her maiden at Bellewstown earlier this month, and she was well-fancied to go in again, going from 13/8 this morning to a starting price of 11/8 favourite. Capitol Hill was the early morning favourite for John Murphy and Joseph O’Brien, but he went off the 7/4 second choice of punters, while Waver was sent to post a 2/1 chance, under Ana O’Brien for her father Aidan. Waver attempted to make all, with Ravello Again settling in last of the three runners. The successful Ballylinch Stud owned filly travelled strongly on the outside two furlongs from home, and once asked to go and win her race, she picked up well, hitting the front over a furlong out, keeping on well to score by three lengths. Waver finished second, just a nose in front of Capitol Hill. Connor King said afterwards: "She was a little bit slow away but she travelled very well and she picked up well. "As soon as I pulled her out she quickened up well." Additional reporting Alan Magee
