Champion jockey Michael Kinane will return to riding action this week at Newmarket.
The 41-year-old has been out of the saddle since tweaking a muscle in his back when riding at the Curragh last Saturday.
He was due to make his comeback at Roscommon tomorrow evening but will now return at Newmarket later in the week.
Kinane's British agent John Hanmer confirmed: "He has decided to give himself another day. He might ride on Tuesday or he could wait until Wednesday.
"He is anxious to make sure that he is 100 per cent fit for the Irish Oaks on Sunday."
