KINANE OPENS ACCOUNT

Michael Kinane (Little Woman), Brett Doyle (Century Horse) and Wendyll Woods (Zietengo Bay) all got amongst the winners at the Hong Kong Derby meeting today at Sha Tin.

Kinane, licensed as a club rider until March 15, broke his duck for the season on Little Woman while Doyle and Woods respectively moved onto the 16 and 13 winner mark for the season.

Kieren Fallon was severely reprimanded by the stewards for his riding of Housemaster, runner-up in the Derby for shifting-in when not quite clear.

The stewards also took a similar course of action with Jimmy Quinn following his riding of Intrigue (sixth) in the Superior Gold Handicap.
