Michael Kinane picked up a ban for careless riding in Hong Kong today after finishing eighth on the David Oughton-trained Strategic Move in a mile handicap at Happy Valley.
His ban starts immediately and lasts until March 2.
Jimmy Quinn, having lost his retainer with Brian Kan and now riding as a freelance until March 31st, deputised for the indisposed Gerald Mosse.
It made little difference as both Po On Power and Cavalo finished ninth in their respective races.
