The Tony Martin-trained Good Time Jonny is on course for the Pertemps Network Final Handicap Hurdle at Cheltenham.
The Shirocco gelding landed a big pot at the Dublin Racing festival last year before finding Grade 1 company too hot in the Albert Bartlett at Cheltenham and also at Punchestown.
He qualified for the Pertemps final when third at Leopardstown over Christmas but made little impression when dropped right back to two miles last time.
“All going well he'll run. He's qualified for the Pertemps and hopefully that's where he'll go,” Martin told Racing TV.
“It would be great to have a runner and hopefully he'll give a good account of himself.”
Martin is hoping he might be joined by some stablemates and added:-
“We'll see how a few go this weekend, there is nothing sticking out but there might be a few that raise their heads between now and next week.”
