JOHNSTON TAKES RHAPSODY TO NORWAY

Trainer Mark Johnston is set to run Atlantic Rhapsody in the #92,000 Marit Sveaas Minnelop at Ovrevoll, Norway on Sunday.

The three-year-old, winner of the Tote Credit Club Silver Bowl Handicap at Haydock in May, will be ridden by Joe Fanning in the nine-furlong Listed contest.

Other foreign raiders in the 15-runner field are El Roi Chic, trained by Nicolas Clement in France, and Feenkonig from Werner Glanz`s stable in Germany.

First prize is #55,000 with the winning owner also receiving a gold bullion weighing one kilo and worth #7,500.

British jockeys Chris Maude, Ross Studholme and Simon Burrough are also riding over hurdles at the meeting.

The feature race on the card is the Norwegian Derby for which Barrier Reef, formerly trained by Aidan O`Brien, is a hot favourite.
