Wincanton is to stage a new Anglo-Irish jockeys challenge next Thursday.
The six-race luvbet.com-sponsored event will pit riders born in Ireland against their British-born counterparts, with six points awarded for a win, three for a second, two for a third and one for a fourth.
Irish jockeys will be denoted by blue number cloths while the English team will carry red number cloths.
Every rider who scores points for the winning team will receive a magnum of Ruinart champagne, while the jockey with the highest number of points overall will be awarded a jeroboam.
In addition luvbet.com will be offering a #50 charity bet on each of the six races, with all winnings donated to the Injured Jockeys` Fund.
