Raya Time (4/1) pulled out more to beat the favourite Embittered in the beginners' chase over two miles at Wexford.
Embittered was driven up on the outside to challenge Raya Time approaching the home bend but Raya Time found extra jumping the second last.
Rachael Blackmore kept the revs up on Raya Time and the pair had the race in the bag once they cleared the final obstacle.
Embittered (1/1f) could offer no more on the run-in and was beaten five lengths into second. Raya Time's stablemate Fusain finished third at 20/1.
"I'm delighted with that. He is definitely a better ground horse. He ran brilliantly in Punchestown at the Festival and then he made an awful mistake last time and it just took him out of the race," trainer Henry de Bromhead said.
"It's great to see him win today and I'm delighted for the Brookhouses. We will look for something in the next few weeks, he might go for a handicap or we could look at a novice.
"Two miles seems to be his trip but he settles now, so he could drop in as well.
"I'm delighted with both of the other horses. Fusain is looking like he is coming back to form and Havingagoodtime (in fourth) is slowly coming to herself as well."
