Off an eight pound higher mark New Hill supplemented a Roscommon win from 13 days back in the Golf At Gowran Park Handicap.
Robbie Colgan was again in the plate for Sheila Lavery, and the successful daughter of Dragon Pulse made all.
Ridden two furlongs out, New Hill was pressed over a furlong out. The pursuing Gegenpressing soon couldn’t match strides and two and a quarter lengths separated them at the finish.
“She’s come on a lot from her last run and improved both mentally and physically. She’s a lot more professional about it, broke well for Robbie and he kept it very simple,” said Ms Lavery.
“I’d say she’ll be better over a mile but these three-year-old handicaps are so hard to come across.
“I wouldn’t run her on fast ground — anything that’s good but not good to firm. They have done a beautiful job with the ground here today.”
