ITALIAN JOB FOR ALRASSAAM

Alrassaam will miss Saturday's Juddmonte Lockinge Stakes in favour of a trip to Italy, it was revealed today.

The Michael Jarvis-trained colt is set to run in the Premio Emilio Turati at Milan on Sunday rather than the Group One contest at Newbury.

A stable spokesman said today: "Alrassaam goes to Milan and Philip Robinson will ride.

"It was always the intention to go to Italy, we just needed the okay from the connections."

The son of Zafonic, winner of the Prix Daphnis at Chantilly last season, finished seventh of the eight runners in the Marriott Hotels Stakes at Sandown last time.
