Ascot are to stage a precautionary inspection at 7.15am in the morning before giving tomorrow's televised meeting the go-ahead.
Although the weather forecast is for a dry night, a course spokeswoman said: "It is raceable at present but we just want to check in the morning that everything is all right as we have had a load of rain.
"The going is soft on the chase course and soft, heavy in places on the hurdles course."
Ludlow and Ripon, the two other courses staging racing tomorrow, report no problems.
Bob Davies, the clerk of the course at Ludlow, said: "I've just driven around the inside of the course and there are no definitely no problems - we've had a completely dry day but we might get a rogue shower later."
Today's meetings at Nottingham and Exeter were both abandoned.
