Trainer Caroline Hutchinson's recent roll of winners continued at Downpatrick today, when she saddle Dark Strands to win the www.patohare.com Handicap Hurdle.
Ridden by Ruby Walsh, the son of Barathea was given a patient ride, eventually getting to the front inside the final furlong, for an eight length win over The Hedge
A delighted Hutchinson later reported "that is my fourth winner this week and its my first at this track. I was leading rider her as an amateur jockey a few times and it was a target of mine to get a winner here as a trainer! Ruby gave Dark Strands a great ride."
