Hewick looks set to be supplemented for the Ladbrokes Champion Chase at Down Royal on Saturday week after pleasing 'Shark' Hanlon in a piece of work.
Last year's King George winner was third on his seasonal debut in the BetVictor Chase at Punchestown last week.
Hanlon is set to head north for the Grade 1 contest with his stable star now, depending on ground conditions.
