Get In There proved a tough customer as she held the persistent challenge of Kellystown Jack in the Martinstown Opportunity Handicap Hurdle at Down Royal.
Adrian Heskin sent his mount into the lead at the fourth last flight but the runner-up looked a big danger at the next.
He couldn't find a way past the Sean Doyle-trained mare, however, eventually going down by three-lengths.
It was a second 'track' winner for the Enniscorthy handler, with this mare also providing his first success at Limerick in January.
"That's her ground. She's tiny but as tough as you get. She'll go for something similar and will get three miles," said Doyle afterwards.
The winning owners, the six-strong Very Last Chance Syndicate, are local to the trainer in Ballindaggin and this is the first horse they have bought.
