Gavin Cromwell's Hello Neighbour is set for a step up in class after delivering in the Grade 2 O'Driscolls Irish Whiskey Juvenile Hurdle at Leopardstown on St Stephen's Day.

The Harzand gelding held on by a short head on his hurdle debut in Foxrock, having won both his starts on the Flat in Navan and Roscommon.

Cromwell said: “Hello Neighbour has come out of his run at Leopardstown well and will go back there for the Grade 1 at the Dublin Racing Festival (in February).”

Hello Neighbour currently disputes favouritism for the Triumph Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival with East India Dock.

Meanwhile, the Co Meath trainer is considering his options for Inothewayurthinkin who was last seen finishing fifth in the Grade 1 Savills Steeplechase at Leopardstown, and Limerick Lace who came home a remote second in a Grade 3 mares' chase at Fairyhouse on New Year's Day.

He said: “Inothewayurthinkin ran well the last day, but I don’t know what to do with him. He looks short of being a Gold Cup horse at the minute.

“I’m not sure where we will go.”

“Limerick Lace is proving very frustrating. She has been in great form at home, but didn’t want to know about it the last couple of runs. She’s been very disappointing.”
