The Christy Roche trained Harold’s Cross got back to winning ways in the Gurteen Agricultural College Handicap Hurdle, scoring under former Champion Amateur Jockey Alan Crowe.
Crowe, who is embracing the spirit of Movember, moved Harold’s Cross to the front after two out before staying on well for a neck win over Wicklow Lad
Afterwards owner J.P.McManus’ Racing Manager Frank Berry stated “Harold’s Cross will stay over hurdles for the moment and we’ll try to find another one like that with him now.”
