Michael Hills is hoping to be back in action on Wednesday as he continues his return to fitness.
The rider sustained arm and leg injuries when Prairie Falcon slipped and fell in the Ascot Stakes at the Royal meeting last week.
The incident also led to fellow jockey Kieren Fallon, whose mount Alhawa was brought down in the ensuing melee, being taken to hospital, where he has remained since.
Hills said today: 'The physio's round now but my arm and hand are still badly bruised and my leg is very sore.
'I'm aiming to come back on Wednesday at Salisbury and Kempton. It's getting better but at the moment I still couldn't get a boot on so that's obviously a problem.
'But I'm doing as much walking as I can - when the weather allows me too - and I keep putting ice on it to get the swelling to go down.'
