HENDERSON AIMS FOR FOURTH TRIUMPH

A maximum field of 28 looks likely for the Elite Racing Club Triumph Hurdle at Cheltenham on Thursday after 39 four-year-olds were confirmed at today's five-day stage.

All the leading fancies stand their ground in a race worth #80,000 with Lambourn trainer Nicky Henderson holding a strong hand.

He is responsible for the long-time ante-post favourite Mister Banjo as well as leading fancies Architect and Regal Exit.

Henderson has won the race in the past with First Bout (1985), Alone Success (1987) and Katarino (1999).

Francois Doumen sends recent Kempton winner Snow Drop over from his Chantilly base and champion trainer Martin Pipe, who enjoyed his first major success in this race 19 years ago with Baron Blakeney, has Bring Sweets, Perugino Diamond, Through The Rye, Urban Hymn, Valiramix, Baclama and Face The Class in the two-mile-one-furlong contest. -PA
