Independent News & Media PLC is to jointly sponsor this year's renewal of the Heinz 57 Phoenix Stakes at Leopardstown on August 13th.
The six furlong Independent Heinz 57 Phoenix Stakes will also offer a £57,000 bonus to any horse who lands the Coventry Stakes, Queen Mary Stakes or Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot before going on to score in the £175,000 contest.
The feat was accomplished by last year's champion juvenile Fasliyev, who won the Coventry before going on to success at Leopardstown.
