Haydock`s meeting this afternoon has been abandoned following the fifth race of the seven-race card.
General manager Adam Waterworth said: 'We`ve had just about an inch of rain this afternoon.
'There is a foot of standing water in the straight on the chase course and it is in the same condition on the hurdle course.'
Haydock was the only meeting to race today in Britain following the abandonment of Towcester and Windsor.
