Curragh based Billy Fitzgerald trained his first winner at Dundalk tonight when providing Kevin Manning with the second leg of a double, with Gwens Spirit in the Crowne Plaza Hotel Dundalk Handicap.
Afterwards Fitzgerald reported "Gwens Spirit was ideally suited by the 1m4f trip today and loves to be held up on good ground. He'll probably mix it between hurdling and the Flat next year."
