Guest records his fourth win of the seaon Castle Guest recorded his fourth win of the season as he took the Leopardstown Club Members Handicap under Shane Foley for Mick Halford. The four-year-old son of Rock Of Gibraltar won over the course and distance in July, and he since won twice at Gowran. Sent off an 8/1 chance, the bay gelding made virtually all, and he was pushed along to assert over a furlong out, keeping on well from there to score comfortably by a length and three parts. Morga kept on well to take second under Rory Cleary for Jim Bolger at 14/1, while the 9/2 favourite, Pay Day Kitten, was a further length and a half back in third under Pat Smullen for Dermot Weld. Mick Halford said afterwards: "He is a smashing, straightforward horse. He liked the ease in the ground and I spaced out his runs. "I had him entered in a hurdle at Naas last Monday but I said I’d keep him for this. He jumps well, we have done plenty of schooling with him and he will be a grand horse next year. "He is owned by Paul Rooney from Castlewellan in Co Down, and he has been a great supporter of the yard."
