Grandma's Hands who displayed enough to warrant a rating of 79 in three starts at two, showed herself to have trained on very well when making light of a 211 day absence in the concluding Irish Stallion Farms European Breeders Fund Fillies Maiden at Naas.

Chris Hayes was never far away in the famous Team Valour silks as Grandma's Hands became the second chestnut daughter of Teofilo to score on the evening, following on from Tarfasha in the featured Blue Wind Stakes.

Like Tarfasha, the Andy Oliver-trained Grandma's Hands (10/1) was good too and she went away from over a furlong out on the way to an easy three length success over Fastnet Mist

Favourite Carla Bianca had every chance but had to settle for a disappointing fourth, whilst money came for Ballydoyle newcomer Just Gorgeous (9/2 into 5/2) but she had to make do with a finishing position of eighth.

Oliver disclosed: "She's a lovely filly and we thought a good deal of her last year.

"We had some nice engagements for her but we always thought she was more of a three-year-old and we left her alone at the end of the year.

"They are very high-profile owners and they've been good to support me.

"It's nice to get one for them and hopefully she progresses and we'll take it from there.

"We'll have to speak to the owners to see where we go." (GC & EM)
